2010 Santa Fe - Aftermarket Products?
I'm a new/used 2010 Santa Fe owner. I just bought the car with 35K miles and has been well taken care of.
It is the 3.5L V6 MPI DOHC 24V I would like to put and aftermarket muffler on it later for better sound. Also what else to improve performance? Any suggestions? Thanks... |
Improve performance? What performance? Speed? (it's an SUV, not a Corvette). Off-road ability? Fuel economy?

Okay... This SUV runs very nicely...

This 3.5 L, 276 HP with Dual Overhead Cam is a good running engine. My 98 Z28 300HP out of the factory... |

That's a 29-hp difference between it and the Santa Fe. But torque is want moves a car. Your Camaro is rated at 335-ft/lbs of torque at 4000-rpm. The Santa Fe only has 248-ft/lbs of torque at 5000-rpm. That's a whopping 87-ft/lbs of torque difference. Lastly, the Camaro weighs only 3400-lbs, the Santa Fe weighs 4100-lbs. 700-lbs is a huge difference. Plus, the Santa Fe is a tall SUV with a high center of gravity. Bottom line, if you want "performance" to be speed, drive your Camaro. Now, if you would like to increase the Santa Fe's off-road "performance" or fuel economy "performance" let us know. |
Your right. I do like this Santa Fe though and it will get out of it's own way. ( especially if the A/C is off.)
