My tailgate was intermittently opening and closing while I was driving. Now it is locked close and will not open. I took the latch out and it seems to be in good working condition manually. It locks and opens. Not sure if it is the latch or the electric release button on the tailgate. Any help?

 

iv have same issue with 2014 santa fe boot opens and closing while driving. also replaced boot lock whinch is electric and still clicks after closing.
