ESP and ESC lights are randomly coming on while driving. Happened to my hubby while approaching a roundabout and today to me driving uphill.
There doesn’t seem to be a link between the two incidents.
we recently had the two front tyres changed and more recently topped up the engine oil (followed the recommendation from Halfords).

anyone have any ideas?

 

The first thing that needs to be done is to have the vehicle's computer checked for any codes. THEY DON'T TELL WHAT IS ACTUALLY WRONG, BUT PROVIDE SOME GUIDANCE AS TO WHERE TO START CHECKING. . This is not something where you just go there and fix it. You need some special test equipment and tools to examine what the system sends back to you..

It may be related to the Electronic throttle control.
