2015 Santa GLS AWD or limited 2WD, similar price

My last SUV is CRV AWD and I need a bigger one now. Santa is my first choice. local dealers give me two options. GLS AWD $30003 and Limited 2WD $31783.0. I saw some shared prices by others in autopriceshare are lower than mine(around $1000). However, I am feel OK with these two deals.
Personally, I prefer the limited 2WD and it has more options. In my city, it snows several days one year and I am not sure whether 2WD could handle it. Someone here may have driven Santa 2WD in snow before. Do I need to prepare snow chains for 2WD? Is 2WD version good enough to handle the snow situation? Thanks in advance

I have a FWD Tucson (smaller, less ground clearance than a SF) and have no problems in the snow. People who claim they need AWD because of the snow probably can't drive in the first place. Unless you live in Minnesota or Canada where it's constantly snowing, you'll be fine with a FWD SF.

FWD + winter tires beats AWD and all-season tires all winter long.

I am in seattle. I bought the AWD version finally.
