Default 2017 Santa fe sport ultimate issues

My wife's car is giving some trouble. We bought it earlier this year and have had an issue with the steering, between 60 and 70 mph the steering wheel shakes/vibrates. It's not a crazy amount but enough to **** you off. Also sometimes when she goes to stop at a stop sign or light it acts as if the transmission is shuddering. Anyone had these issues or could advise me? Can't get into the dealership for at least a month due to them having so much work.

I don't know what plans you might have up the road, but I might be able to offer some possible explanations for what may be taking place.

The shaking and vibration may all be coming from the same area.
The vehicle should be checked , even if you need to go to someplace like a tire place. You could ask them to check the suspension and wheel balance.

If they find anything abnormal, get an estimate and let's see what they find..
What you call a trans shudder could only be a wheel speed sensor problem activating the ABS. (Anti lock brake system) This causes the brakes to be applied and released very quickly because a defective sensor thinks the wheel has stopped moving and is releasing the brake for that wheel..
Things may not be all as bad as you suspect. Since it is a safety concern, the sooner you have it checked out the better.
