Question 2018 SF Sport AWD Rearview Mirror Replacement

Wanted to upgrade my rear view mirror from the standard 3 button to the BlueLink auto dimmer. The dealer wanted over $500 to provide the part and install.
I found an OEM mirror (exact same part number authorized Hyundai part) and asked the dealer how much would it cost to install. OMG!! Over $200 just to remove and replace if I provided the part.
The dealer indicated they would have to rewire the mirror and that was a time consuming job.
I would have assumed that Hyundai would have a wiring harness that would have been installed in the car initially that would have accommodated the upgrade without rewiring.
Anyone have any experience with this? Your opinion.
Thanks in advance.

I have a 2018 Santa Fe sport and am looking into this as well. I'm waiting on a call from the dealership on the install price. I will try to buy a mirror from a junk yard if it's worth installing. But at $200 just for install I'm not looking forward to the call. Will the compass work with just the factory plug because I don't care about the auto dimming or home link options? Thanks for any information or thoughts on this.
