Default Can't stop misfire

I'm tired of changing plugs and coils. What is causing this. I've got good compression, wires are good and have continuity. It's always on the back no 5. I switched the coils around. Same thing. What is the fix for this?

The fix for this is to go down the list and check the possibilities.
There is no set fix for every problem.
You have only tried some of the things to attempt to help yourself.
There are several other possible causes and some require special equip to check and don't believe you have the equip to perform them.
You mention continuity, where did you measure that? Between where and where?
A constant misfire is not too difficult to isolate the cause, but you need to know how the system is supposed to work in order to check and determine what is not working right, what is missing or is not up to spec.
Do you know if the injector is doing anything, or if spark is coming out of the coil, what the requirements are for those things to take place ?
I am aware you asked for assistance, but don't have any idea of your background .
Did you verify that you have spark available to that cyl and did you verify fuel is getting to that cyl ?
If you did, please tell us how you performed those checks.

By checking continuity, I'm on the part of the harness for the coils. I checked the injector today and it's good. I unplugged the MAF sensor and it runs perfect! What does that mean? Bad sensor, dirty sensor? Something else?

I also had a bad coil and replaced it.

Well. Replaced MAF twice. It still has a misfire but only under acceleration. The problem is nowhere close to how bad it was before. It will misfire but still be drivable. Ie. Not run ruff. But still if I unplug the MAF, it runs amazing. What else could this be?

The best thing to do is to check for any codes in the computer.

The MAF sensor is supposed to measure the air coming into the engine and the computer adjusts the fuel based on the info from the MAF s and oxygen sensors.

If extra air is getting into the engine that the computer doesn't see, the fuel correction will not be right.
Look for an air leak, allowing addl air to get into the engine that is not being measured. It could be a vacuum leak or a torn or split hose,/ duct between the MAF sensor.and the engine.

I'll check for a leak soon as I can get time off. It's just amazing how good it runs without the MAF plugged in. A leak makes sense since the misfire only happens during acceleration.
