Cheap Way to Copy Key Fob/Remote?

I just got a used 2009 Santa Fe. It came with just one key, and the dealer wants over $200 for an extra remote. Ace Hardware quoted $130. I see many used fobs on eBay (FCC ID: PLNHM-T002), but I think I have to pay the dealer $75 to program it. Is there a cheaper way to do this? DIY?

It’s a similar story with the key itself. The dealer wants $65 for a key. Ace Hardware wants $79.

Thanks.

Instead of looking for a dealer, you can call a locksmith to program keys. They use advanced tools and techniques to program keys at a decent cost than the dealer. Locksmith boston provides 24-hour services to their customers at a comparable price.

Yes, absolutely locksmith uses highly advanced tools and software to make a copy of key fob at a reasonable cost.

A little FYI,
All fobs are not the same. They may look alike , but for some reason they come with problems that can take the owner /purchased for a real ride.
There are files with loads of folks that had peculiar problems because the FOB was incorrect for the intended vehicle..Cheap is not always the best way to go.
