Differences between '06 and '07 Santa Fe?

I have looked around a bit now for a new car, and the Santa Fe looks like a great car. At the moment there is a few 2006 models for sale here in Norway that looks good and with a decent mileage on them. There is also some 2007 models for sale, all new with almost zero mileage. The price difference is not that big, but there is some.

So what is the differences between the 2006 and the 2007 models? Im looking at the 2.2 CRDI LUX, i think that and the 2.0 is the only ones available here.

I do know that the 2007 has a slightly stronger engine. But is there more? Is it possible to use the 4WD-lock on the 2007 model at all speeds, or is it still only useable at 40km/t?

Yes there is a difference in the motor options. The 2.7 V6-172 hp.inthe07 has a Constant Variable Valve Timing on the cam (CVVT) that is supposse to make it more efficient.. These cars are not designed for off-roadfour wheeling, but to get you out of slick spots. The 07 AWD, that can be locked into 4 wheel, does limit the speed to about 40 km (25 mph) and will automatically unlock at speeds above. The 07 also has the touring package option-two extra seats in the back that fold down. I have the touring package and the extra seats are quite comfortable on short trips or for children or not so tall adults.. I drove them both and found the 07 a lot smoother. Bought the 07 AWD and at2500 miles (4000km) I put on it, so far so good.
