oil filters

i just bought a new santa fe with the 3.3 v6 i traded a 06 sonata with a 3.3 v6 are these the same engine? and does it take the same oil filter? the reason i ask is i have 10 filters i bought for the sonata.

Yes, it's the same Lambda family and same filter.
