I have a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe v2.7 GLS and I have just replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator (35301-37100).
I need help finding a replacement hose that connects to the "L" portion of the fuel pressure regulator.
The one I removed appears to be a hose that is approximately 2" long, 1/2" OD and 1/3" ID. I've checked various parts websites engine diagrams but can't seem to figure it out.
Any assistance or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks
I would imagine that you're not going to find that as a "part". I would take the old hose to a reputable auto parts store and have them cut 2" of the correct hose.
While you're at the store, you might as well get a bit more length so that you're sure you have a piece that is long enough. Also take in the clamps on both ends of that hose and get new ones. I know sometimes that seems silly, but you want the repair to last a gajillion miles.
If that piece of hose is under pressure from the fuel pump, be sure to triple check for leaks. Turn the key to run the fuel pump, then turn it off without running the starter and check for leaks. If that's good, then run the engine for 10 seconds or so, then shut it off and check for leaks.
