Rear seat high pitch noise
 

Hi, I have a 2016 Santa Fe sport and only two month after getting it, the rear right passenger seat started making a high pitch sound. After some investigation I realized that after driving around for a few hours and having the seats wobble (normal for a Santa Fe) the handle used to recline the seat become loose and the noise start.

The only way to stop the noise is to recline the seat back and forth. The spring and handle will get the right tension and the noise will stop. Until the wobbling will loosen the handle-spring-latch again.

The dealer did not go that far in the analysis and simply opened an ITAC (sounds like) and ask me to wait for a recall to happen.

Anybody out there with some ideas on how to fix this ? Thanks
