Santa fe vs Tuscon

I have heard that when ther Tuscon is here in the UK
in September, Santa fe prices are set the fall
big-time. Has anyone else heard this ? I REALLY
want the V6 Santa Fe but can only go to £10k max,
so I am looking for a used model. The thing is, do I
wait until September or try finding one now ?

Has anyone else got a V6 Santa Fe ? If so, how dop
you rate it ? Any advice would be great, thanks in
advance.

We have the 2.7 engine with automatic tranny in ours and it is plenty for our needs as a daily driver to and from work for my wife. The four cylinder just did not have enough power atall.</P>

Cheers Roy, thank you for replying. I have read that
the 2.4L Petrol and the 2.0D are a bit 'tinny' and lack
any kind of 'go'. propably like you , I do not need night
speeds or 0-60 in 4 seconds, but I would like to
overtake a 900cc Panda on the motorway !

Cheers

RE: Santa fe vs Tuscon

My parents have an '05 Santa Fe GLS with the 3.5 v6 and awd and it hauls ass. The auto stick function is fun.
Its alot quicker and more powerful than the Blazer I used to have that had a bigger engine.
Theres plenty of room inside too.

Too bad some stupid old lady rearended the truck behind my mom and pushed it into her Santa Fe. The tailgate is all dented up and the rear bumper is broken. It should be fixed next week though.
