Default Speed sensor...again

I know this has been covered 100 times, but I still need help. Have all the usual suspects, limp mode, hard shifting, code 0715. I replaced the input speed sensor. It did not help. Still same 0715 code. I used contact cleaner on the plug...no help. I would think that if the output sensor was bad it would throw a 0720 code. Suppose that the new sensor is bad? Would a bad output sensor still cause a 0715 code somehow? I don't have much hair left from battling this problem so I need it fixed real soon
