2007, Santa-Fe 6-Cyl, FWD.
When stopping after reverse, and shifting to D, it will stutter a bit (as if too-low idle) and then I will hear a bit of ringing form the engine (like advanced ingnition) when start going. No other issues at all. I am at 100K and about to replace spark plugs.
Any ideas what this could be?

I don't know what it is ...
but it does sound like you have a transmission issue
