Is there any Common problem with 2007 Santa Fe
 

Hi. I would like to know is there any problem that I should know with this 2007 Santa Fe model. I am thinking to buy this model soon. To those who have own the car, how was it???

No problems so far. I just picked up a 2007 Santa Fe Se with moonroof.

I looked at the Honda CRV / Toyota RAV-4 / and Mazda Tribute and was not impressed.

The only complaint I have is that the rear hatch window does not open independently from the rear hatch.

Some others have complained about the ride being a little rough on bumpy roads (especially with the 18's) but I think that is a matter of opinion. I'm coming out of a '99 Grand Prix with a lowered suspension...so the Santa is smooth as silk to me!

I say go for it...you won't be disappointed

I'm thinking to buy 2.2 diesel engine, 2wd. It's good to hear Santa Fe don't hv much problems. Beside that, any other problem to those who have used Santa Fe for more than a year or have reach 50k mieleage? I'm worried about the engine part such like gear box..etc.

No major issue across the product line. However there is one in particular, on earlier 07s the front dome/map lights did not come on when the door was open. Thedome/map light was address after a lot of people raiseup and complained. Both US and Canada dealers now have the corrective parts. Another issue across the product line is the rear hatch tends to chatter, bang around a bit.

There are other issues within the certain trims, based on installed features.

I still love my 07
