Tire Chain Clearance for 2007?

Does anyone know which SAE class (S, U or W) tire chains can be used on a 2007 SF with 23560R18 tires?

I asked my local dealer, but they said that they didn't have that information.

RE: Tire Chain Clearance for 2007?

There are lots of choices for the tire size on your Santa FE. For example go to:

http://www.tirechain.com/235-60-18.htm

Whether you choose type S or U will depend on wheel well clearance with the tire and rim combination you have. Use type S if you think the cleaance is tight. Unfortunately, you sometimes have to buy chains and check fit them. If you are not off-roading with the Santa Fe, and are dealing with packed snow and ice on paved roads, I'd suggest you consider cable-chains. They are lighter, easier to install and not as punishing to the vehicle and tires as regular chains. Make you buy a good set of heavy duty rubber tighteners with the chains.
