I have a Tm button on the right of my steering column (on a RHD 2007 cdx+). I am guessing that this the same as the one that you are referring to.

It is the factory fitted sat-nav button. I believe it stands for TrafficMaster, the company who supplied the service. If you press it you will either get an error message ("not activated" or similar), or it will try and connect you to the TrafficMaster call centre.

Off the top of my head, the service is/was a subscription service costing about £150 a year, but the first year was free to new registers. I have a feeling that the service is now defunct, so it may now be a redundant button.

The suppliers of the service still exists (see GPS Fleet Management Software & Fleet Tracking Systems - Trafficmaster) so you might want to contact them to see if they can activate it for you if they still provide that service. I activated mine when I first had my car, but hardly used it (I found that a dash mount satnav was more effective).

Tom.
