Trouble starting after changing fuel filter
 

I have a 2001 Santa Fe 2.7L V6 with about 139000 miles on it. I just finished replacing the fuel filter but now my Santa Fe won't start. You can hear the fuel pump engaging but the car won't turn over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, been having issues with the automatic transmission shifting gears. I have replaced all the spark plugs and purchased transmission fluid from Hyundai so that I can flush and refill but was wondering what else could be causing it. I have also purchased but have not installed new input and output speed sensors hoping that will fix it. Previous shifting problems in 2005 led to replacement of the speed sensors and have read that they tend to go out. Again, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Fuel filter and now it cranks and no fire ??

Did you put back all the o-rings from old filter into new when reassemble ??

Find your old filter and look in the holes for o-ring still stuck inside,,, makes for fuel leak that wont make pressure to charge the line.

Trans, been a few engine & trans programs through the yrs for various 2.7 issues... are you up to date ?

Buying parts for concerns you read on the web... how about scan the thing and see if you have any DTC that might steer you in right direction before dropping cash on a wild guess and compounding problems more than what you started with..
