Wheel Lug Torque

Default Wheel Lug Torque

Our 05 Santa Fe 2WD has issues with the front wheel lugs coming loose i've set my torque wrench to factory setting of 81ft lbs and still come loose and even added a locking lug to each wheel . But the front alway's come loose so does anyone have any ideas to fix this issue

Are you putting and oil on the threads of the lugs and/or the studs?

Ummm no ...I've never used oil on lug stud's and never will ...

Are you sure the wrench you are using is calibrated correctly? Are these the factory wheels or aftermarket?

I've never had any issues with my wrench ..I used it just last wkend on another car ..The wheel's are factory ...
