06 Sonata "creaking noise" in morning

Brand new to this forum and not a mechanic by any stretch. I have recently noticed that in the mornings I get a creaking noise in the front end of the car going over bumps. It is colder here now (Phoenix- 40 degrees) and it seems to go away as it warms up in the day. I have about 75K miles on the car. Will I need to have the struts replaced on this already? I am hearing that this repair is about a 1K price tag as well. OUCH! Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

RE: 06 Sonata "creaking noise" in morning

Where's the noise coming from? I have an 09 and I have a problem with creaks coming from the dash/windshield when it got cold her in PA. Others have too. Curiously, it stopped when the artic blast hit us a few days ago, dropping temps to under 25F. It's possible there's a temp window that causes this.

There was a TSB for a creaking windshiled on 06-08. You'll need to identify the source of the noise, have somebody drive for you while you investigate.
