'09 bumper cover removal
Backed my sonata into a snow bank and cracked the bumper cover.
I have a few questions.
Why the hell does hyundai make such a brittle POS bumper cover? I was barely moving when I hit it. I did hear it, but, didn't think to get out and check it at the time as I thought there was no way I could have damaged it moving so slowly. I wonder if I complained to the hyundai dealer that sold it to me, they might at least discount the repair bill.
Does anyone have instructions for the cover removal. I found a thread on it, but, looks like the image has been pulled down.
I am a fairly decent mechanic and would remove, repair/replace it myself, if it is not too much of a headache. I am guessing that with the cover removed, I might be able to patch it from the inside with fiberglass.
