1999 Sonata GL stalls at when idle
 

Need some advice,

My Sonata GL 99 recently started stalling when idle and resembling a total loss of power (i.e. speedometer/internal lights/radio eventually die then I stall). Th odd thing is the battery is clearly in good shape because I can restart the car within a few minutes but again the same behaviour appears and dies within no time at all.

The check engine light is on but I can't seem to determine what the problem is...apparently on some models there was problems with MAF connectors shorting from engine vibration causing the car to stall - can this be the problem?

Anyways, please send me any ideas you got...I would rather diagnose and fix this issue as it does not appear to be a major electrical system fault.
