2002 Sonata electrical/charging problem

I have a 2002 Sonata. DOHC, 4cyl. The car sat for awhile while I was waiting for parts on an unrelated problem. When I finally started engine found the alternator was frozen. Got a rebuilt alt online and installed. Got an alternator lite right away. Checked the output and at the time I had 12.2Vvdc and dropping. Pulled alt and had it checked at Autozone. Checked out good with between 14 and 15vdc output. Checked grounds and all look good. Checked fuses under hood and inside. Looks like I'm getting nothing out of alt. now. Is there a fuse or a fusable link I'm missing? Could the voltage regulator be bad? Would it still pass if the regulator were bad? The fuse right at the pos terminal on the battery is good. Any help would be appreciated.

their are alot of different alternator configurations! depending on the bigbox parts store worker, to hook the alternator up right to the testing machine is can be disappointing! i would try and test it somewhere else! also it can still pass their test and be bad! mike
