2002 Sonata Electrical Problem
 

I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata. Last week it died at a stop sign and would not start. I had battery tested and it had a bad cell. I replaced the battery. The car would start but the battery light stayed on and the fuel gauge did not work. I pulled the alternator and had it tested, it passed two test. I reinstalled the alternator, the battery light did not come on. I drove the car yesterday and it drove for about 5 miles and died. Tried to jump start and would die when i removed cables. Jump started this morning and it ran for about 5 minutes and died. Does any one have a suggestion what to try next.

how many miles does you car have? I had the same problem in my 05' and I found out it was my timing belt. I had this replaced and my car runs perfect now.
