2007 Sonata possable problem with MAF/MIT Sensor. My Meter's code is PO105 #11.HELP? CHILTON'S book does not show a PO105, Only PO101 through PO103 and then goes on with PO106 and on???

Very hard starting is the problem. Have also just had a dead battery. Car has been siting, un-run for over 3 mounts???

P0105 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Malfunction

Possible causes- Faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor
- Manifold Absolute Pressure harness is open or shorted
- Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

thanks, but where is the map located???? I can't locate it

Erichshonda 09-14-2014 09:43 AM

Vehicle uses a mass airflow sensor. Intake air temp sensor is built into the mass airflow sensor and not serviceable separately

Not sure what the 11 is about. The Hyundai web sight doesn't list a po105 as we'll. I'm assuming you have a 3.3 liter v-6 engine. This has both a mass airflow sensor and a map sensor. Map sensor is located on top of plenum to the left of throttle body. Haven't had much problems with map sensors. Check for external vacuum leaks. Also monitor fuel trim parameters is you have a decent scan tool.

Jimintexas,

MAP sensor location is item 4 on diagram. Believe location to be the same for 2.4 and 3.3 V6, but unsure. OEM Hyundai part number is 39300-38200 (for both 2007 Hyundai 2.4 & 3.3 engines).
