2011 Sonata Limited 2.0t Cabin Air Filter

Has anyone changed their cabin air filter yet? Where is it located and how do you access it to change it? The dealer want's $65.00 to change it. I rather do it my self.

In case of driving in an air-polluted area or rugged terrain, check and replace the air filter as frequently as possible.

5. Installation is the reverse order of removal.

Air filter replacements

Found the exact replacement for both the air filter and the cabin air filter at the local Pep Boys. Purolator brand withexactly the same specifications as the original for one third of the dealer price.

This is the same as the Optima and was REALLY easy to do!

Damn, such a simple, simple fix. How can a dealer charge $65.00 to customers for this job??? That's absurd!:eek::confused::confused:

Sucks but standard dealer labor rate is expensive.

Luckily, thanks to these instructions I did it myself too! - https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...54610316_n.jpg

Cabin Air Filter

Does anyone know if the arrow aims up or down, I neglected to notice when I removed the old one?

Look at the arrow on the old filter. The side with all the dirt and debris will be on top. So hold the old filter with the dirt side up and look at the arrow.

I just got one on Amazon for $12.80. Takes 2.5 minutes to replace. Free shipping on orders of $25 so just get something else you need too.
