2011 Sonata Limited Audio
2011 Sonata Limited (no nav) with Demension sound system:
Im starting to redo my audio system and bought new door speakers that I will be amplifying. It seems that the stock front l/r door speakers are not full range as I play with the fader. The rear speakers are full range but for the front, the mids/highs come through the dash tweeters. Normally you would tap the front l/r and rear l/r speakers to send full range signal to the amp, but how would I get the full range front speaker signal if the front speakers are split between the tweeters? I do not know where the tweeter wires are as I do not see them on the wiring diagram for the demension amplifier in the trunk. Should I locate and tap from the tweeter signals or proceed to tap from my front door speakers?
Also, with the stock 8” sub, I do not see it wired to the demension amplifier as well so do I need to make any considerations to my stock sub and tweeters when wiring in my amplifier for the door speakers? Or are they wired directly to the radio and fine to be left alone?
Thanks for any help.
