2013 Seat Height
 

Our 2013 Sonata Limited passenger seat sits very low. We are new to the car and wonder if there is a way to raise/adjust it upward.

No. Not unless you unbolt the seats and put some sort of spacers under the mounts.

Seat kit looks like a good idea. Wondering, however, if there is a safety issue involved. When I asked my salesperson about the seat height being low he said that it was a safety issue. I'm wondering why or probably just BS. Also wondering if the material used in this kit to raise the seat has the same strength (the bolts) as the original. Don't want to put cheap Chinese crap in that would shear off in an accident.

GARY: The seat height kit referenced above is made in the good old USA and is fabricated of very robust material with 10.9 class bolts rather than the OE 8.8.
The salesman's safety issue is BS.
