2013 Sonata Brake Light Goes Out Often
I have a 2013 LX and the brake light frequently burns out. I use the 1157 Sylvania bulb. Do I need to replace the bulb harness? The existing harness is not melted or has a major discoloration. If there is something that I need to do electrically please provide a video link or point to a reference for me to follow. I appreciate your feedback!!

Well, do you touch the bulb with your fingers?
The oil on your fingers can reduce life expectancy of the bulb Wearing rubber gloves can help. The only other thing I can think of is the place the bulb sits Is there excessive heat? Does the engine vibration move the filament Try Phillips 1157 bulb?? |
