3.3L Crank Pulley seperated (2006 sonata)

1/4 mile from the house a couple of days ago the battery light kicks on and power steering goes. It was pouring the rain so i'm thinking the serp. belt has slipped. No big deal, at 120k its time for a new one. I get home and pop the hood and find that the crank pulley has completely seperated. Luckily, no damage that i can see.

So i ordered a new pulley and belt. Anybody changed this pulley on this particular engine? Problems/things i should know? Any insight would be appreciated.

Looks like just one bolt but i'm curious how difficult that bolts going to be and if i'm gonna need a BFH to get the pulley off if/when i get the bolt out!

Evidently this is common on some hyundai engines, but i've found little info on this one particular.

Any help is appreciated.

Easy repair. If doing at home will need a impact, air or electric to get bolt off. Once the bolt is off the balancer comes off fairly easy as long as you don't live in a salt/ snow area. Harbor freight sells electric impacts cheap.

Erichshonda - thanks for the reply...it was fairly easy. I had an impact (both electric and air, 1/2" drive) but couldn't loosen the bolt with that alone. Reluctantly, I resorted to the, "wedge the breaker bar, crank the engine method" found on youtube. I hit the starter twice and then the impact backed it right out. After that, piece of cake.
