99 Sonata - O2 sensor location

I got a P1154 code - O2 sensor - Bank 2 - sensor 1

Only problem is that I have no idea where bank 2 - sensor 1 is located.

I've had this problem before but then it went away by itself. This time it looks like
it is staying until the O2 sensor gets replaced.

Looking in from the front - is it front bottom left - front bottom right, etc.
I see several O2 sensors and would hate to replace the wrong one. I have
the service manual but as far as I can tell - they don't use the same terms.

Thanks for your help!

Here is something I dug up off the internet. They are talking about a 2002 Sonata:

"It's a problem with your bank 2 upstream oxygen sensor. First, call the
dealer back with your vin and have them check to see if there are any
recalls on the vehicle. There was a recall to reprogram the pcm which
addresses this issue. If this hasn't been done, they should be happy to do
it free of charge. If it has already been done and you're beyond the
warranty period, the repairs are your monkey.

Hyundai has had some problems with these oxygen sensors and has made some
attempts to fix the problem. Although they originally appeared to be
working, I still see many failures of this oxygen sensor.

If you'd like to try this job yourself, it's the oxygen sensor in the
front manifold near the top. The part number for the sensor is
39210-3916A, but be aware that the distribution of this sensor is
currently being restricted by Hyundai because they don't have enough to
fill all the orders. I actually checked into the availability of this
part a few days ago and it appears plenty should be available in about a
month."

What engine? 2.4L 4-cyl or 2.7L V6? You need to tell us.

I'm going to assume it's the V6. This pics should help:

Bank 1 is the bank of cylinders on the firewall side
Bank 2 is the bank of cylinders on the radiator side

Sensor 1 is the O2 sensor before the cat
Sensor 2 is the O2 sensor after the cat

So the one you want is the sensor before the cat on the radiator side of the engine.

Thanks P0154, P0151, P0174

When I googled Bank 2 sensor 1 a post(not Hyundai related) indicated the sensor was on the driver side before the cat converter. That was not it. It is the one as you said and have indicated on the drawing at the front of the engine. This is a XG350.

AKA - "VO2" update, Heated Ox sensor update

The 16A and 12A sensors have been on the shelf everyday since 2003 that I know of, we never had Back-Order on them, this is 2010, so you info is severely outdated.

Been doing VO-2 for a long time, just had 1 here a month or so ago, car in for other concerns (frame inspect I think) advisor says it got VO-2 also.. We is out of frames, we are back ordered something like 24 currently... had to send 1 out today that needs replace, but we have no frames.
