I have a 2007 Hyndai Sonota. I am trying to install 6.5 Mb Quart components in the front and 6.5 two way Mb Quart in the rear. I bought speaker brackets from crutchfield, but the speaker wont fit and they are not thick enough to let the rear of the speaker clear the door panel. Help, has anyone installed 6.5's in a 2006 or 2007 Sonota, and if so how did you do it?

Hi, just joined the forum and saw your post. If you haven't installed them yet, I have a tip for you. I bought some plastic spacers and longer screws from home depot. Solved the problem, speakers fit behind the door, and also clears the window so that it rolls all the way down.
