Air Con intermittent failure Sonata

Sonata SE 2012 16K miles. On two occasions when switched to Air Con, it has blown hot air. If I stopped the engine and started it again the Air Con came on. Any ideas please? Gil

Well...being only two times, I gotta ask- are you sure you actually engaged the A/C? Also, if the car has been sitting, its going to blow hot when you first turn it on...and when you first do that make sure its not on recirc- as the air in the car will be hotter than outside. Also, if youre not in recirc and you come to a light, the A/C wont be as hot since its pulling heat from the engine when stopped for those couple of moments.

See if it becomes more frequent...if it does then take it in for service...otherwise, the dealer wont due anything if they cant reproduce the problem. GL.
