Am I able to replace the rearview mirror without garage door openers to one with them
 

Hi all,

I just picked up a 2018 Sonata SEL. One thing bugging me is that the rearview mirror is the more base model with just three buttons (Bluelink, nav, phone). I was looking to replace it with one of the models that also has the Homelink garage door buttons. There's a few used ones on eBay for pretty cheap.

Am I able to do this without any other parts? I guess I'm not sure if the Homelink stuff is just built into the mirror, or if there's some other option/add-on/module that my car would need to take advantage of the new mirror's functionality.

Congrats on the new Sonata – awesome choice! Swapping the rearview mirror is a cool idea. From my car mod adventures, it seems like the Homelink stuff is often integrated into the mirror.
