Have a 4 CYL 2008 Huyndai Sonata need to do brakes.
Dealer charges approx $320 (all inclusive) this is rear brakes its down to 2mm.
Brake Masters(BM) is $100 , BM will be using semi metallic brakes.
How to decide what to use , spending $200 on the dealet seems to much.
Whats the best way to approach this?
Do I need Ceramic or semi mettalic?

 

As long as the Rotors are okay go to Autozone and buy a set of ceramic brake pads and install them. If the Rotors are damaged ie the pad is worn so low that it is grinding on the rotor...replace the rotors too. About $37.00 for brake pads....$37.00 each rotor if needed.

Go with the ceramic. They are quiet campared to metalic. I'm not sure you can get metalic brake pads these days.
