Clicking sound from under drivers dash?

My 2007 Sonata SE V6 has an intermittent clicking sound coming from under the lower drivers side dash. I mainly hear the relay like clicking sound when going from the brake to the gas pedal, but I've heard the sound while just starting to accelerate. I looked under the dash, the only components there are the drive by wire module on the gas pedal and the brake light switch. Anybody elses experience any thing like this?

Thanks.

Does it make this sound when it starts?

No, the clicking happens when the car is running and I move my foot from the brake to the gas or gas to brake. The sound is like a relay or solenoid clicking. My car is at the dealer right now for this problem, I will post what they find.

Have they confirmed it? Do they hear it too?

Yes, they hear it, I took the service writer out for a drive when I dropped the car off. Everyone who's driven my car has heard it, it's quite annoying. My wife has the an 07 GLS and her's makes no clicking sounds.

Yeah, I know:) I tried a 4cyl GLS for a month, I just couldn't live with the 4cyl engine. I went back and traded it for the 6cyl SE, Hyundai just happened to have an extra $500.00 in owner loyalty cash along with the $2k rebate. I wrote a check for $2900.00 and drove away with the SE.

OK, here's the update. The mechanic & service advisor are convinced that it's the drivers seat. I went for a ride with the mechanic and he showed me where to put my hand under the drivers seat to feel the slight movement of the seat when we hear the noise. They ordered a new seat, I will post again after the new seat is installed. I did drive all the way home with my right hand cupped just underneath the drivers seat and I can feel it.

Interesting. I had the seat rails on my Elantra replaced recently but it was more of a thunk than a click.

Well here's the update on the seat rattle, it's gone, but so is the car. I didn't tell you that the dealer was suppose to also fix a 4" scratch on the front lower bumper cover that happened right before I took delivery of the car. The porter scratched it while driving it to fill it up with gas. I took delivery anyway with the understanding they would make the bumper like new whatever it takes. Well 3 tries to repaint the bumper cover was enough for me, I said replace the bumper or replace the car. I drove out today with an 07 Platinum Edition for the balance forward of my car and some cash. So no more seat clicks and I wound up with an awesome car. The totally black leather interior is incredible, and I really like all the extra toys like the sunroof and climate control.

Yeah you really have to hold the delaer and or salesmen to their word when they say they'll do something...

I had our dealer come pick up the car for the detail and gave them a note of what they need to fix..

They didn't fill it with gas and I wasn't about to let them get out of that one...they also did a poor job at buffing out the scratches, but I'm going to use turtlewax black wax to fix that... Dealers suck people..we all know that..they aren't your good buddy...but try and act like it.

I've had good luck with Meguiar's Scratch-X to get scratches out. If you use it, rub it very hard and vigorously. The heat generated helps smooth out the scratches in the clearcoat. It does a good job without removing material.

It would be better to start your own thread
Please explain in as much detail as possible
And if any work was done before or after the issue
