factory cd removal

I recently purchased a 03 sonata, and my I wanted to swap cd players with my Dad's Santa Fe, but I'm having some problems....any suggestions? (taking the cd player out of my civic seemed soooo much easier)

btw:

1. I did a search and noticed someone asked a similar question on 6/24/06 that got no replies, and
2. The deck in my dad's Santa Fe is a brand new Sony (so, no, I'm not just swapping oem decks)
