Front bumper clips break
 

2011 Sonata

Anyone have issues with the front bumper clips breaking causing the ends (where they meet the front fender) to pop way out and flop around?

If I understand correctly, these clips are part of the bumper cover itself and cannot be replaced seperatly, about $1200 bucks! These were broke when I went thru the stupid car wash! I cannot figure out how I am going to reattach the front bumper without those clips being intact.

Any ideas? Any experience with this? :confused:

I'm having the same issue with my 2012 Sonata. The clips broke, although I have not been involved in an accident. Now the dealer is telling me its not covered under warrenty and the costs will be near $900. I'm huge Sonata fan but this isn't acceptable. Did you ever find a solution or has anyone else had this happen and if so any luck in solving?

I have 2012 Hyundai Accent with same problem. broke within first 6 months during winter.
