Fuel Filter and Fuel Tank Air Filter Location?

I'm trying to catch up on some maintenance for my 2006 Sonata with a 2.4L engine. Could someone please guide me to where the fuel filter and fuel tank air filter is located? Thanks for any help.

Fuel filter is in the fuel pump module, inside the fuel tank with the feul stuck up the middle of the filter..

Not sure on the air filter, it is not something we replace.

The fuel tank filter is number 8 below:

So are most people really replacing the fuel filter every 37.5K like the maintenance schedule calls for, or are they postponing until a possible filter problem exists? This seems like pretty involved maintenance for the typical weekend mechanic.

There's no need to change it before 100K miles unles there is a problem.

Should I replace the Fuel Filter & Fuel Tank Air Filter?

I'm up to a little over 70,000 miles on my 2006 Sonata, 2.4L, & in the owners manual it says at 75k miles to either inspect or to replace both the Fuel Filter and the Fuel Tank Air Filter. I have the means to do it now. However, it states in the manual to have a certified technician to perform this maintenance. Should I not bother replacing it if I don't have any current problems?

So i shouldn't bother replacing it until around 100k miles? I'm a fan of rather being safe than sorry, but I'm no mechanic. If I can put this off for another year or so thats great.

I'd wait unless you have a problem.
