Fuel gauge level
 

Just purchased an 2004 Sonata GL V6 and filled the tank but the fuel gauge only went as high as just slightly over 3/4 full so I called the selling dealer and they told me that this is normal and they do it.
Anyone else out there with an 04 with the same problem or is the dealer trying to avoid doing a sending unit?
