High pitch noise in 2010 sonata
 

Hello,

I recently (about 6 weeks ago) had my brakes replaced in my car. Ever since then I can hear this sort of high pitched squealing noise when I drive slow and brake. I'm unsure if this is my rotors or calipers as I did have 1 caliper replaced (the back left). Can any of you advise?

Take it back to the shop that did the work. Take your receipt along. Do not accuse them of doing a bad job. Just ask for clarification and ask them if they can check it free of charge. You may ask them if they used new hardware. Those are little springs and shims and such that keep noise down.
From the information you provide here it is too hard to tell what is happening on your car. One cannot even be sure where the squeal is coming from. Front? Back? left? right? the wheel with the new caliper?

The noise is coming from the front. It appears to happen when the car is moving regardless if brakes are applied or not. Not sure what else you need. The caliper that was replaced was in the left rear.

Most likely the caliper sliders are sticking.
When you brake the calipers press the pads against the rotors. When you get off the brake the pads and pistons in the calipers get pushed back ever so slightly by the rotors. Rotors always have a tiny bit of wobble that you won't even feel. The calipers also slide laterally. With time the sliders can get dirty or become corroded and that keeps them from sliding. Thus the pads keep touching the rotors and that is what you hear.

In my cars I take the sliders out, clean them really well with wire brush and sand paper. Then I apply hi temp grease to them and put them back in place. Problem solved.
