I assume this is the fuel pressure regulator
Hi all,
My 2012 Hyundai Sonata with a 2.0T is leaking alot of gas from where the red arrow is pointing. It's coming from the hard line connection and I've tried to clean the connection and tighten it but it still leaks. I'm not to sure if I should replace the part or if there is a problem with the fuel pump. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Best bet is to just replace.. When it comes to gas, don't play around.

I believe double dragon is correct and here is why.

The engine in your vehicle has the Direct Injection System. The pressure on the lines to the injectors can reach 3,000 psi . Once tightened down, they take a set and if loosened and moved have a tendency to leak. Replacement is strongly recommended once removed.
Now you know what you need to do and driving around with a fuel leak is not smart.
If at all possible , obtain the replacement parts/ line(s) from a Hyundai Parts Dept.
They will need your vehicle's VIN to assure the correct parts.
