Log-in information does not work
 

I registered for an account at this forum a few months ago. I have posted a handful of things. I did record my log-in information on paper. Recently, my log-in information generates an error message that it is invalid. Does the site generate a new password for users after a period of time? Why would my log-in information become invalid? (I am logged in today through my Facebook account.)
