Possible faulty TPMS sensor
This is for a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Eco. Before I ask here is a little background as to what happened. I had to get my car shipped and once it arrived and I was able to pick it up, one of the sensors we're messed up. I double checked all 4 tires' pressures and made sure all 4 were set to 34 psi. After driving around a bit my back left sensor keeps reading lower than the rest. At first it was around 30ish psi that it was reading and now it's dropped down to 26/24 psi which isn't reading properly. I checked again to see if the tire was low, but it still is reading at 34. Is this a bad sensor or is there any way to recalibrate it as it's not reading properly anymore? I'm assuming they banged up the valve stem during shipping it but I have no clue.

Sounds like a TPMS sensor went bad
Hopefully replacing the sensor will fix this But, I am only guessing. |
