Question Problem with 2015 Sonata TPMS

I know this has been brought up in the forum before but I'm still hoping! Our 2015 Sonata TPMS consistently reads low and gives a warning. All four tires are similar. For example, when they are set accurately to 34 psi (and let's assume it is accurate, I've checked this carefully), all four tires will read about 30 psi and give me a warning. I brought it into a Hyundai dealer, told them the problem and to fix it. When I got it back they said there was nothing wrong and to just put in 38 psi - "that's what they do".

I know this has been a problem for many but I've never seen a good solution. Any know solutions or advice?

Thanks!

Take it to a Tire dealer. I go to Discount tire.
They got good prices on the TPMS sensor.
It probably needs replaced and reprogrammed.

I would suggest getting a few estimates before jumping off.

TPMS units can run as high as $100 per wheel.
Possibly reprogramming them may help.

TPMS sensors generally last 7-10 years. A lot depends on how often the vehicle is driven. An internal battery is disconnected if the vehicle is parked after a period of time and that increases the longevity of the sensor. As soon as the wheel starts moving the sensor becomes activated and functions.
As suggested, maybe another tire place may be able to verify the programming.
