Problem with Central Lock on the 2006 Sonata V6 3.3 GLS
 

Hi folks,

I recently purchased a used 2006 Sonata V6 3.3 GLS.

The central lock is not working, i.e, nothing opens the 3 passenger doors except you physically flick the knobs on each door. I've tried using the Car keys, FOB, Button on drivers door, ...i've tried them all, but nothing works.

I took the car to the local Hyundai sales/service centre and was told "WE DONT DO AMERICAN SPEC HERE" :eek:, so i've had to settle for a regular car repair shop.

He says its the actuator on the 3 door that needs replacement, but i can't seem to find anything about "actuators" from online shops so i can order them myself.
