Where is the beeper module?
 

The audible turn signal beeper on a '09 SE stopped beeping, permanently. The lamps flash normally, and the in-dash green arrows work, but there's no sound. The driver has to take eyes off the road to check dash for signals.

I'm being told that the entire dash must be removed to replace the beeper; that the module is otherwise inaccessible. Can this be true?

One tech said it takes a full day in the shop to complete, and another said it will be longer than a day to replace the beeper, but they won't say how much longer.
