Replacing rack and pinion
 

I had my 2012 hyundai sonata at the garage. Found out the rack and pinion needs replaced..Is this something I can do myself? Was told maybe the subframe has to be removed in order to replace the rack and pinion..Does anyone know if this is true or can it be replaced without removing the subframe..
