A review after 3 years of ownership for Sonata 2016 Limited

The car also recently got a Check Engine light and it's in limp mode - won't rev past 4000rpm - it seems it may have to do with the MAF, the Hyundai dealer ordered the part and yet to install it. I put some links with a few problems in the video description section (below the video itself)

You had the new ECU upgrade recall done didnt you?

Hi, yes the dealer did update the ECU at that visit.

Here's an update with the car, it has around 22000 miles by now. All of a sudden one morning, the engine would refuse to accelerate and the Check Engine light came on, this time it was flashing (severe misfire). The car could not be driven. We parked the car - fortunately this happened right as we were leaving home, and had it towed to the Hyundai dealership. They took about a week to inspect it. On the paperwork it says the oil pan was removed to inspect for metal shavings but found none. Then the intake was removed and a knock sensor was replaced (this is a sensor used to listed for engine knocking). it's quite a simple piece, but it's usually located behind the intake manifold so not easy to access.
The car is driving fine now.

This is the second engine sensor replaced on this car. Here's the repair paper, sorry it's in french but I think the parts are named in english
